Pool Membership Rules

Help keep Sandpiper Pool a fun, safe, and secure environment for everyone by abiding by
the Rules and Regulations. All members and guests are expected to comply with the
established rules and regulations. These rules have been established to ensure that all
members and guests will receive the greatest benefits of the use of the facility!

1. All members must check in at front desk using the family member name. Pool members are welcome to bring guests onto pool grounds as long as the guests do not live in MB1. Passes are $5/person/day. Children under 2 years old are free. Guests must be accompanied by an individual who holds a pool membership. Guests 17 and under not accompanied by an adult will not be admitted until their parent or legal guardian has signed a waiver at front desk. Pool members are to remain on pool grounds with their guests at all times. The pool staff has the right to check valid ID’s of any person wishing to enter pool grounds in order to validate membership or guest pass admissions.

2. Each Pool Member and any guest must sign a safety waiver (one time per season) before they are permitted to be on pool grounds. The waiver can be printed and brought to the pool before/at your first visit or filled out at the pool’s front desk. Any guest of a Pool Member ages 17 and under must have their parent or legal guardian sign the waiver. The pool management and staff are responsible for the enforcement of rules and regulations.

3. The Pool Manager is authorized to establish temporary rules to deal with immediate situations and take disciplinary actions when necessary. In addition, employees of the Association or Association Board of Directors should not be interfered with or reprimanded by members of the Association. Complaints or suggestions should be directed to either the Pool Manager on duty or a request to be contacted by a Maplebrook 1 Board Member can be given at the front Desk.

4. Members and guests use the facility at their own risk. The Association is not responsible for the destruction, theft, loss or damage to the property of any member or guest. This includes any property put into a locker room locker or bicycles parked in the parking lot.

5. Children ages 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult on pool grounds. Children age 11 years and older can come to the pool on their own but a parent or guardian is recommended to join them for supervision purposes, as this is not the responsibility of the pool staff.
